For 2011, the Federal Government is offering a tax credit for replacing your windows.

The recently passed Economic Stimulus package (the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) includes federal tax credit up to $200.00 for replacing your windows and up to $500.00 for replacing your exterior doors.

Here’s how it works;

You can receive 10% of the total dollar amount you spend on windows or exterior doors

Qualifications for doing this are; (A) Windows must meet certain energy criteria. (B) This house must be your primary residence.

Nearly all products available @ Window Option Specialists qualify, or can qualify for this credit

All purchasers are advised to consult a professional tax advisor to determine whether they qualify or if the products they purchase qualify them for the tax credit.
